In the lab we are interested in the identification of the mechanisms at the basis of skeletal muscle development and Muscular Dystrophies, with the aim to identify new therapeutic strategies. Moreover, we are currently working on a cell therapy approach based on the use of Mesoangioblasts to treat Cystic Fibrosis.
