EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES AT THE BRERA BOTANICAL GARDEN

The Brera Botanical Garden is open to visitors all year round. More than 200.000 people and 3.000 school students enter the Garden every year!

Activities for the public at large include guided tours, workshops and several events, such temporary exhibitions, talks, courses, shows, and events devoted to children and their families. Our offer is focused on the natural, scientific and historical heritage of the garden, on the protection of natural biodiversity, and on the promotion of participatory and responsible behavior for the conservation and valorization of the natural heritage.
Please visit our website for information or write us to receive our newsletter.

Activities for school students and their teachers are focused on our natural heritage, the promotion of responsible behavior for its protection, and the dissemination of scientific culture.
The educational sessions include guided tours and workshops on curriculum-linked topics, and on a wide range of other topics in botany, ecology, art and science, mathematics and physics, history of science and natural sciences.
Our activities are designed to take place both outdoor and at the educational room of the Garden. Our approach aims at promoting a multisensory and shared experience, also using instruments (microscopes, stereoscopes, lenses and laboratory tools) and fresh material.
Workshop are also specifically offered to teachers to support their lifelong learning.
